Acute Bronchitis

Acute bronchitis, also known as a chest cold, is a short-term inflammation of the bronchi caused by a viral infection, characterized by symptoms such as coughing, mucus production, chest soreness, fatigue, and shortness of breath. While the infection typically lasts from a few to ten days, the cough can persist for up to six weeks, with most cases resolving without treatment.
