Claustrophobia

Claustrophobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by an intense fear of confined spaces, often triggered by situations such as crowded elevators, small rooms, or tight-necked clothing, leading to symptoms ranging from mild anxiety to severe panic attacks. The condition is thought to result from factors such as a reduced amygdala size, classical conditioning, or genetic predisposition.
