Fragile X Syndrome
Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) is the most common inherited intellectual and developmental disability, characterized by mild-to-moderate intellectual impairment, social and emotional challenges, speech and language issues, and physical features such as a long face and large ears. Males are generally more severely affected than females, with common symptoms including hyperactivity, autistic traits, and seizures.
