Jet Lag

Jet lag, or desynchronosis, is a temporary physiological condition and sleep disorder that occurs when a person's circadian rhythm is out of sync with a new time zone after rapid travel across multiple time zones, resulting in difficulty adjusting to the local time, especially when traveling east. This condition, characterized by phase delays or advances of the circadian cycle, disrupts the body's biological clock, making it challenging to adapt to new time zones.
