Microangiopathy

Microangiopathy is a disease affecting the microvessels, or small blood vessels, in the microcirculation, often impacting organs such as the kidneys, eyes, skin, and muscles. Diabetic microangiopathy specifically refers to such damage caused by complications from diabetes mellitus.
