Muscle Cramps

Muscle cramps are sudden, involuntary contractions of one or more muscles that result in sharp pain and temporary immobility, commonly triggered by physical exertion, hot weather, dehydration, electrolyte imbalances, or certain medications. While generally non-damaging and self-resolving within seconds to minutes, they are also associated with pathological conditions and can cause significant discomfort.
