Precocious puberty

Precocious puberty is a health condition characterized by the unusually early onset of puberty, occurring before age 8 in girls or age 9 in boys, involving accelerated growth and early development of secondary sexual characteristics. It can be classified into true and pseudoprecocious puberty, with most cases being variations of normal development, although a minority may result from underlying medical conditions such as brain tumors or injuries.
