Takayasu's Arteritis
Takayasu's arteritis (TA), also known as aortic arch syndrome or pulseless disease, is a systemic inflammatory condition characterized by granulomatous vasculitis that leads to intimal fibrosis and vascular narrowing of the aorta and its branches, most commonly affecting young or middle-aged women of Asian descent. Key symptoms include a weak pulse in the arms and legs, and females are significantly more affected than males.
