Telangiectasia
Telangiectasia, also known as spider veins, are small, widened blood vessels that appear as threadlike lines near the surface of the skin or mucous membranes, commonly found on the face and legs, measuring between 0.5 and 1 millimeter in diameter. While generally harmless, they can be associated with underlying conditions such as venous reflux in the legs or certain diseases like Bloom syndrome.
