The single omission of d-biotin, thiamine, p-aminobenzoic acid, folic acid, or cyanocobalamin did not affect the bacterial growth, whereas the removal of nicotinic acid, riboflavin, and pyridoxal produced a decrease of about 30% in the growth rate.
