L-glutamine
Did people find they had to start slowly with this and titrate up? Did this mitigate any negative effects?I tried l-glutamine a while ago but I did take 5g straight away which led to some anxiety which I thought meant I couldn’t tolerate it at all but I’m thinking now perhaps I started too quickly
Starting with a lower dose of L-glutamine and gradually increasing it can help mitigate potential negative effects, such as anxiety, which some individuals experience1. L-glutamine can cause side effects, including abdominal pain, headache, and nausea2. If these symptoms occur, adjusting the dosage or stopping the supplementation might be necessary.
For many, starting with a small dose and observing the body's response can be an effective way to determine personal tolerance levels. It's generally advisable to consult with a healthcare provider before making changes to the dosage, especially if there were adverse reactions previously.
