Actually, she is scientific research (Inserm-CRCN) at the Institute Translational of Medicine in Liver disease (ITM) in a INSERM-Unit (U1110)at University of Strasbourg-France. She graduated at Biology at University Izabela Hendrix/Brazil (2006), Master of Biochemistry and Immunology, Federal University of Minas Gerais (2008) and PhD in Immunology, UFMG/Brazil. Doctoral sandwish in Australia (Garvan Medical Research) at the Department of Immunology (2010). Have Postdoctoral in genetics in General Biology / UFMG department (2011) and was a Visiting Professor in the Department of General Biology / UFMG/Brazil (2011-2012). Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology / UFMG (2012-2014). Postdoctoral fellow in the CNRS/Strasbourg France at Department of Molecular Biology (2014-2015). Postdoctoral fellow in UFMG at Department of Biochemistry and Immunology (2015-2016). She was associated professor at Department of Biochemistry and Immunology/ICB UFMG (2016-2024). Has experience in the area of immunology and microbiology with emphasis on inflammation and the role of microbiota in the immune system, acting on the following topics: microbiota and immunomodulation, probiotics, gut microbiota metabolism, Short Chain fatty acids, GPR43, gut-lung axis and gut-liver axis.
