PROF.CORAL BARBAS is currently Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Pharmacy Faculty, Universidad San Pablo CEU, Madrid (Spain), and Director of the “Centre for Metabolomics and Bioanalysis” (CEMBIO). She is also the CEU International School of Doctorate (CEINDO) Director and Coordinator for CEU Universities. She is the author of more than 350 papers, with current research interests in all the steps of multiplatform metabolomics (GC-MS, LC-MS, and CE-MS) in all kinds of biological samples, searching for biomarkers. Her awards include the Tswett - Nernst European Award of the European Society for Separation Sciences (EuSSS) (2022); the award of the Belgian Society of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS 2018); Angel Herrera Research and Teaching Award and the medal of Bialystok Medical University. She has received an Honoris causa doctorate from Bialystok Medical University. She is on the “world’s top 2% scientists list” at Stanford University. She has been visiting Professor at Imperial College London. Member of different boards of international Committees and Editor for the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis till 2021. President for the Royal Society of Chemistry at Madrid Section between 2019 and 2021. Vice-president of the Spanish Society of Metabolomics since 2020. H-index 61; > 13000 quotes
