Dr. Firdausi Qadri is serving ICDDR’B as Senior Scientist and Head, Immunology Section. She completed her Ph.D from Liverpool University, United Kingdom in 1980 and her field of study was Biochemistry/Immunology. She has got Gold Medal for outstanding research in Biological Sciences for 2006 by the Bangladesh Academy of Science and Fellow, Infectious Diseases Society of America (FIDSA), USA. She also got training award form Fogarty International Center for Training program in vaccine development. She is an advisory panels and teaching member of 14 Bangladeshi and foreign organization. She has completed 6 research projects and now involve in 6 research projects.
