Professor of Biochemistry and clinically trained doctor with 15+ years of experience in biomedical research, teaching, and academic leadership. I have published 50+ peer-reviewed articles and authored international book chapters, including "Minerals in Pregnancy and Newborns" and "Research in Anatomy", both Published by ELSIEVER. My previous research has focused on pregnancy-related disorders namely preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and applying molecular genetics, and epigenetics methods in addition to others. Alongside research, I am deeply engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, and supervision of master’s students. More recently, I have developed a special interest in translational research addressing inborn errors of metabolism through gene editing technologies and other innovative approaches.
