Holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI, 2013), a postgraduate specialization in Biotechnology from the Instituto Superior de Teologia Aplicada (INTA, 2014), a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Universidade Federal do Piauí (UFPI, 2016), and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Rede Nordeste de Biotecnologia (RENORBIO). An active researcher in Molecular Pharmacology, with a strong focus on Gastrointestinal Pharmacology, Inflammation, Mucositis, and the development of Antidiarrheal therapies. Member of the Laboratory of Pharmacology of Inflammation and Gastrointestinal Disorders (LAFIDG/UFPI), contributing to translational and experimental research. Served as Assistant Professor (Level I) in the Biomedical Sciences program at Universidade Federal do Piauí (2016–2018), and as a faculty member in the Nursing and Dentistry programs at Universidade Estadual do Piauí. Currently holds the position of Assistant Professor in the Law and Medicine programs at Afya College of Parnaíba, where he is actively engaged in innovative teaching methodologies and academic leadership. Demonstrates solid expertise in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) applied to education, problem-based and small-group learning strategies, and morphofunctional laboratory instruction. Serves as Coordinator of the Laboratories and Health Simulation Center, contributing to the advancement of clinical skills training and simulation-based education. Actively involved in institutional governance, serving as a member of the Teaching Support Center (NAPED), the Research Ethics Committee (REC), and the Patient Safety Center (PSC), reinforcing a strong commitment to academic excellence, research integrity, and patient-centered care. Additionally, served as a member of the National Evaluation Committee of the Afya Educacional, contributing to quality assurance and academic standards at a national level.
