Sameh Rabea got his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical microbiology - College of pharmacy, Cairo University in 2019. He has more than 19 years of experience in teaching undergraduate students in the college of pharmacy and college of applied sciences. He supervised different research projects of undergraduate students. He published a number of publications in high-impact and prestigious journals (Q1 and 2). He was granted two patents and he won the first rank in AlMaarefa University President Excellence Award for Innovations and Creativity (The First Rank). His research interest is in medical and applied microbiology and immunology. it includes Bacteriology, antibiotics exploring and developing, bacterial ghosts’ preparation and applications, and vaccinology. He is working nowadays on developing more drug delivery systems using different organisms to target different cancer cell types: lung and breast cancers. Additionally, he is developing a new vaccine using bacterial ghosts of different respiratory pathogens. His research target is transferring the bacterial ghosts’ applications from in-vitro to in-vivo level either in animal or clinical studies. At this stage, the ghost can be used as a new drug delivery system and vaccine.
