Dr. Matsuoka is responsible for the management of Japan’s several cancer control programs at the National Cancer Centre Institute for Cancer Control. Dr. Matsuoka’s career started in psychiatric practice and has been involved in mental health epidemiology, cancer survivorship research and medical research administration in Japan. Much of his work has been on the development of nutritional intervention against posttraumatic stress disorder and depression.
