Graves' ophthalmopathy
Graves' ophthalmopathy, also known as thyroid eye disease (TED), is an autoimmune inflammatory disorder affecting the orbit and periorbital tissues, most commonly seen in individuals with Graves' disease. It is characterized by symptoms such as bulging eyes (exophthalmos), upper eyelid retraction, lid lag, swelling, redness, excessive tearing, eye pain, and vision abnormalities.
