Morning Sickness
Morning sickness, also known as nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (NVP), involves nausea and vomiting that can occur at any time of day, typically between the 4th and 16th week of pregnancy, and is linked to possible hormonal changes; a severe form, hyperemesis gravidarum, can result in weight loss. Although symptoms often subside after the 16th week, about 10% of women may experience them beyond the 20th week.
