Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a common sleep disorder characterized by repeated episodes of complete or partial blockage of the upper airway during sleep, leading to reduced or paused breathing, disrupted sleep, and potentially significant adverse health effects if left untreated. These episodes, called apneas (complete cessation) and hypopneas (partial reduction), cause changes in blood oxygen levels and can severely impact the quality of sleep and overall well-being.
