Traumatic Brain Injury

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), also known as an intracranial injury, is brain damage caused by an external force such as a bump, blow, or jolt. It ranges in severity from mild (concussion) to severe and can result in a variety of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral symptoms, with outcomes ranging from full recovery to permanent disability or death.
