Furqan Ali holds a bachelor degree in Biological Science from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (Bareilly, India), master degree in Biotechnology at the Garhwal Central University Srinagar (Uttrakhand, India), and PhD in Biotechnology at the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (Jammu, India). Currently, he is a Senior Scientist at Sami Labs Limited, Bangalore, India. General research interests include pathogenic microorganisms, probiotic microorganisms, plant based prebiotic fibers and use of plant extracts and phytomolecules for human health benefits.
