Oral gavage of P. pentosaceus LI05 reduced the bodyweight of rats, which manifested as increased fecal carbohydrate concentrations, decreased intestinal fat intake and the hepatic fat synthesis gene expression, and accelerated fat-to-glycogen conversion.
