Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a long-term neurodegenerative disorder primarily affecting the central nervous system, characterized by motor symptoms like tremor, slowness of movement, rigidity, and balance issues, as well as non-motor symptoms including depression, dementia, sleep problems, and neuropsychiatric issues. The disease is caused by the progressive loss of dopamine-producing neurons in the brain, leading to worsening symptoms over time.
