Heart Failure

Heart failure, also known as congestive heart failure, is a progressive condition where the heart cannot pump enough blood to oxygenate the body's tissues, typically resulting in symptoms like shortness of breath, fatigue, and leg swelling. It is a leading cause of hospitalization for patients over 65 in the U.S. and is often caused by other heart conditions that alter the heart's structure and function.
